Bio

Estellina NAMUTEBI (OLGC) is a Doctoral Student of Bioscience Engineering โ€“ Socio-economics on BOF Sandwich Scholarship. She is a Lecturer in the School of Arts in Social Sciences of Uganda Martyrs University. An experienced Action Researcher in indigenous tree species reforestation as an adaption measure to climate change, with more emphasis on grass-roots participation. She loves teaching and guiding young people in discovering their roots and self-identity, as well as protecting the environment. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Ethics and Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Environment, Development, and Peace with a specialization in Environmental Security and Governance from the UN Mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica.
