Introduction
The Department of Agricultural Economics is responsible for courses in socio-economics related to agriculture, food, natural resources and rural development.
We mainly teach at the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, but also provide courses at other faculties within Ghent University.

IMRD
The department coordinates the International Master in Rural Development (IMRD).
