Belainew Belete is a PhD student at the Department of Agricultural Economics at Ghent University. He started his doctoral research in 2023. He holds Master’s in economic Policy Analysis from Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia. Belainew’s main research interests include development economics, welfare economics, food security and food system.
