Bio

Berre Deltomme is a postdoctoral researcher in the Division of Agri-food Marketing & Chain Management at the Department of Agricultural Economics. He holds a master's degree in Experimental and Theoretical Psychology. In 2023, he completed his Ph.D., which focused on measurement theory and psychometrics, specifically applied to the construct of Pro-Environmental Behavior.

Research

His research interests encompass the marketing of innovative foods and the application of smartphone-based digital solutions for agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a particular emphasis on Uganda. In Belgium, he focuses on the relationships between stakeholders in the Flemish agri-food chain. Additionally, he investigates novel methodologies and the optimization of self-report scales for research purposes.
