Bio
Desiana Nuriza Putri is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics with a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Republic of Indonesia. She obtained her master's degree in Food Science and Technology from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. Her professional background includes working as a university lecturer and researcher in the Food Technology Department at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Indonesia.
Research
Desiana's PhD research centers on the comprehensive exploration of the unique flavors of Indonesian Fine Cocoa and Chocolate. Conducted through a Consumer-Oriented Sensory Research Approach, her study includes consumer perception towards fine chocolate, utilizing a rapid sensory profiling method for fine chocolate, and a cross-cultural study between Indonesia and Belgium. She is delving into the sensory attributes that define the flavor profile of Indonesian fine cocoa and chocolate.
