Bio

Hui Lin is a PhD researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics Department, Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, Ghent University. She holds an MSc degree in Agricultural Economics from China Agricultural University.

Research

Her master’s thesis was on the impact of non-agricultural employment on farmers' agricultural machinery utilization and choice of agricultural machinery. Her current research revolves around the market potential of alternative protein in China, changes in eating habits and sustainability labels.
