Bio
Bio_teMarie Claire Custodio is a PhD researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Ghent University, Belgium and an Associate Researcher for the Inclusive Markets and Value Chain unit at the International Rice Research Institute, Philippines. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of the Philippines. After obtaining her MBA degree, she held professional research positions in market research companies in Southeast Asia. She later joined the International Rice Research Institute wherein she was involved in market and value chain research studies for targeted breeding and food choice studies in South and Southeast Asia.xt
Research
As a PhD researcher at Ghent University, her research focuses on estimating the value of healthier rice varieties in the Philippines.
