Bio

Yufeng Yao joined the Department of Agricultural Economics as a PhD researcher in September 2024. She holds an MSc degree in Political Science from Central China Normal University.

Research

Yufeng Yao has a long-standing interest in China’s land reform and its impact on sustainable agriculture. Her current research focuses on agricultural sustainable intensification in China, especially the effect of land property rights reforms on farmers’ behavior and agricultural transformation.
