Bio

Yixuan Guo is a PhD researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, Ghent University. She holds an MSc degree in Agricultural Economics from China Agricultural University. For the research, she mainly focuses on the commercialization of GM(Genetically Modified) crops in China, involving multiple stakeholders. She made a research on the household demand and its determinants for GM soybean oils in China during her master. Now she is working on to evaluating the potential of GM maize in China.
