Bio
Daniël van der Velden received his MSc in Development and Rural Innovation from Wageningen University in 2019, where his research focused on how crop farmers are engaging with precision agriculture. Since the beginning of 2020 he works as a doctoral student at ILVO and the UGent.
Research
Daniël currently works within the EU Horizon2020 project DESIRA which seeks to improve the capacity of society to respond to the challenges and opportunities of digitalisation in rural areas. He specifically focuses on the potential for digital technologies in monitoring agri-environmental performance of intensive livestock farms.
