Bio

Brian Senyange is a Doctoral Fellow at Ghent University, Department of Agricultural Economics. Brian Senyange has a multidisciplinary background in sociology, rural development, and agriculture. He has collaborated on projects related to food production, agribusiness, and rural development for a number of years, including the World Bank-coordinated Agriculture Cluster Development Project (ACDP) in Uganda, which aimed at improving access to agricultural inputs while also boosting productivity and marketability of farm produce. He also took part in the USAID II initiative to scale up climate-smart agriculture technologies.

Research

Brianโ€™s research focuses on Entrepreneurial Orientation and adoption of technologies in the Agricultural Sector.

Education

Brian holds a Bachelor degree in Agriculture from Gulu University, Uganda. He also holds an International Master of Science degree in Rural Development (IMRD) from various European academic institutions coordinated by Ghent University under the Erasmus Mundus program.
