Monika Varbanova is an EU policy analysist and author in a leading economic newspaper in Bulgaria. She has been working more than 5 years as policy advisor in regional and rural development to a Member of the European Parliament in Brussels. Speaks English, French and German.
Research_Monika’s research focuses on the benefits and challegnes of digitalising European manufacturing, smart specialisation, discruptive technologies and innovations in the agri-food sector.
Erasmus Mundus Master on Agricultural, Food and Environmental Policy analysis (University of Bonn, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya) with full scholarship from the European Commission; Joint PhD programme University of Gent, Belgium and University of Ruse, Bulgaria.
